History Cherokee Executive Director, Stefanie Joyner, recently purchased a circa 1920 Craftsman Style home in Ball Ground. Utilizing State of Georgia tax credits, she has 6-8 weeks to complete a $58,000 renovation. The renovation includes removing the addition that closed in original side porch, updating the kitchen, adding all new electrical, adding a master bath, refinishing the hardwood floors where available, and turning office into master bedroom.
